We anounced our new game today. No screenshots yet,
althou some art I did has been showned at various places.
So i assume i can share them.

I painted the 4 images if you scroll down a bit.
They are classical ww2 photos that I did paintings of.
I tried paint so it looks as much as the photo as possible
but with my colors and some more detail here and there where
it was missing.

Im missing drawing personal stuff, I had the urge the other day
to draw some cool robot:ish thing or maybe a dota-character,
cant really decide

if u are unfamiliar with the genre it is a slowpaced pausable (not turn-based)
grand strategy where you manage a country in the roman era.

i have had absolutely no time to play it myself but im trying right now and it
has somewhat a cosy feeling where you expand your empire. (im playing as rome

the thing i did was:
the map terrain which is just basically a huge painting
and all of the interface and stuff like images here and there.
i made the image with 3 romans standing in front of an army,
the others were made by the guy before me.

I just saw it was 2 years ago i updated the journal, so I apparantly missed last years
update!!
Well just wanna say that I am now working full-time at Paradox Interactive ([link]) as 2d-artist.

So that feels nice although I'll probably wont
make so much personal art anymore. Just once in a while I guess.

But you can buy the game we are making when it comes out! It's an exciting game to
be part of. We are just 2 artists in the graphic team so it will be plenty of my stuff in there
We are a small development team but that feels nice I think.
I'll give info about it when it's released, but it will take a while ofcourse.

It's a nice "hi-tech" building too right in the center of stockholm where also the games
company Grin has their office, I ran into arcipello in the elevator who apparantly are working in the same building. That was weird
But well it's a nice experience and nice atmosphere.

well i guess i can manage to at least update my journal ONCE a year,

great news for me, spyed gave me a one year subscription, i feel very honored,

ironicly thou i wont post so much stuff the coming year, I will be working
alot on our final project in school, which will be a short animated 2d movie

but as soon as i get some time over ill do some other stuff, plus I will probably
post some stuff such as backgrounds and other things from the movie, maybe
even some small clips of it as soon as i got things decent enough to show

well thats it

oh and if you would like any deviation in my gallery as print, feel free to give me a note,
ive had a print account for like a year soon but still only have 2 prints,
gonna make more available now

I tried at the forum but didnt get much replies there, so I am writing it here also and maybe some elite guy or girl sees it,
I have bought a intuos 2 A4R, and I can install it successfully but it doesnt work, the LED doesnt even lit, I have win98, AMD athlon, and image world
mainboard with VIA-chipset, and i read that all that combined wasnt good for USB wacom tablets apparantly..
I know the usb works and it is powered,
does anyone have an idea of what I could do?
